Jackie Rosenfeld grew up in Abilene, a small, conservative city in West Texas. She recieved a BA in Drama from Angelo State University, and later an MFA in Theatre with a specialization in playwriting, from Texas Tech University. Rosenfeld has taught undergraduate courses at Angelo State University and both undergraduate and graduate courses at Texas Tech.
Rosenfeld has seen more than a dozen productions of her scripts, and had her New York City premiere with the Ratutu Collaborative’s Off-off Broadway production of keepingabreast in November 2006.
While Rosenfeld’s career lies in educational theatre and playwriting, her other interests include writing poetry and short fiction, cooking and the great outdoors.
